Chapu Chartered Accountants, a 100% black-owned business has since its inception in 2018 expanded its offices to five provinces, with sights set on further expansions.
Founder and Managing Director, Rhangani Mbhalati joins Gugulethu Mfuphi on Kaya Biz sharing what a remarkable accomplishment it is to have more than 50 employees in Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Limpopo, North West and the Free State.
“Looking back, when I was a trainee I never thought I would get into the business of being an auditor, but through the years and running away from the profession, I’ve realized that there’s actually more that I can do.
The initial thought was just to make a little money and survive, but once I got into the market from one client we were referred and our growth was very organic.
From there we sat down and refined the strategy and worked on ways to really make the company big, and that’s what has contributed to the growth that we have achieved to date.”
